The American VP debate was pretty interesting. I figured Palin would be more embarrassing than she was. Even still I think this summarizes (dead link removed - Jan/24) most of her responses all night. She sounded a lot like a high school kid running for some student representative position, NOT VP of the Worldโ€™s most powerful nation. That in itself is disturbing, but how she ducked the questions with non-answers only confirmed my suspensions that she has no business anywhere outside of Alaska. But then again she is a maverick. Did I mention she is a maverick? So is McCain? Right? Sigh. Vote Democrat!

At home we also has a debate. As is typically Canadian all the leaders gained up on the incumbent Mr.Harper. The Green leader was surprisingly well versed on all of the issues. Iโ€™m sure the Greens will pick up some support. Dionโ€ฆ. wellโ€ฆ I like the party and hate the leader. Could they find someone more vanilla? Unlike Duceppe, who I love but hate his party. Anywayโ€ฆ Iโ€™m hoping Canadians will come to their senses and avoid a Conservative majority. That would be disturbing. Unfortunately I think the left has too many options and the % each party will get will leave the Blues in power again. Gah.
