Circles and circles

Wow…what is with all the snow? Enough already. I shouldn’t have to shovel three times a day!! We decided to go for a hike in Palgrave forest. It started off as an typical enjoyable walk but we turned off the ‘known trail’ and ended up well away from the car. Since we had the dog and it was getting later in the afternoon and had no idea where we were, and if we were headed in the right direction, B. started to freak out a bit. Fortunately we were headed in the right direction and a nice snowshoer confirmed our bearing and told us where to head. By then we were wet, tired and ready to get home. I don’t think we’ll do that again unless we are better prepared and equipped, it could have turned out much worse than an extra hour of uncertain wandering. I’m totally bagged. I may soak in a hot tub later… Zzzzz…gah.

UPDATE:

And soak I did… I *finally* tried the tub with the air jets… Wow… Awesome. I do feel better now. It is amazing how a few bubbles can turn into a rampaging overload of them in a few short minutes. Hehe.
