Dominated by the MENโ€ฆ

Dominated by the MENโ€ฆ

I guess new yearโ€™s eve was quite awhile agoโ€ฆ anywayโ€ฆ B. and I ended up (after a long internal conflict with B.) at Karenโ€™s in Guelph. We spent New Yearโ€™s with them in the past and it was a lot of fun. This year was no different. There were four couples, one of which I met just this year. Peter and his girlfriend (whoโ€™s name sadly eludes me) were quite nice. I got along well with Peter (even more so as he got progressively more hammered..). We spent most of the evening playing board games. There were a bunch of highly competitive โ€˜Aโ€™ types amongst the crowd. The teams were simplified to Boys against the Girls. Poor Girlsโ€ฆ you didnโ€™t stand a chance. The MEN won a fairly close game of Taboo and humiliated the women in their choice) of Pictionary. It was a fun nightโ€ฆ poor Peter had too much wine and spent most of the evening in the washroom. *smirk* We stayed the night at Kev and Suzanneโ€™s. The next day we ran the dogs in the โ€œprisonโ€. It was beautiful there. There was a new snowfall and much of the area was pristine and untouched.

Ugh I was back to work on Wednesday to fine QA had been during the holidays finding more bugs for us to fix. I thought we were done. Sighโ€ฆ It resulted in a very late first day back to work.

Canadian Juniors beat the U.S. Today 4-1 to advance to the Gold medal game tomorrow afternoon against the Swedes. GO CANADA!
