Fall fire

Last weekend was the annual ‘Boyz Harvest weekend’ at the cottage. It was a double-demi good time. We spent most of Saturday cleaning up the property. Clearing leaves, chopping trees, burning wood, stacking wood etc. – we certainly had a huge appreciation for the founding Canadians. We were six guys with modern tools and we were all bagged at the end of the day… I have no idea how they did it. Buzzsaw Bill introduced everyone to IPTV and we latched onto the 24/7 Arnold channel. Naturally, we ate a ton of meat, drank, smoked and had a lot of laughs. The weather was perfect. Lows twenties, slightly overcast or sunny, rain, only at night… Thanks mother nature! We are already planning another get together late November.

In a young season the Sabres are holding their own. Playing hard and working as a team, so far, has produced some good results. It is clear they don’t have enough talent in the top six. Hope Jack is traded soon and we get some back that can fill a role.
