Caledon, Home

It has been a long week for sure. In spite of the routes to work actually taking a little less time, for some reason they feel longer. I generally avoid the DVP and take the 400 South from Woodbridge. So far that seems to be working ok. We had B.โ€™d parents (and her Aunt from Ireland) stay over Wednesday and Thursday night. It is nice seeing everyone but it feels as though I havenโ€™t had a chance to stop and enjoy the house with B. (Except maybe the night we BBQed the chicken in the backyardโ€ฆ but that was truncated as wellโ€ฆ)

My favourite things about the house so far are the privacy and quiet in the backyard and the location, location, location! Iโ€™m a five minute walk from 1) ice cream 2) bars 3) 10m to my hairdresser 4) take-out 5) various green spaces 6) trailsโ€ฆ Ahh! It can get remarkably busy on the trails and the soccer fields near the house. Iโ€™m looking forward to taking the dog to the big empty fields in the winter.

Canada finally showed up over the past view days and is vaulting up the charts with medals of every colour and in various diverse sports. The goose egg is finally gone. O Canada!
