Accident

Well law of averages caught up to me this morning. I was involved in a car accident on the 410 on my way into work. I’m ok, as were the other people… the cars… not so much. I was driving along as usual into work, I was in the left lane, there was a larger car in front of me. That car suddenly swerved out into the right lane revealing a stopped car… I had very little time to react… basically just skidded into him. My options were ditch, traffic or parked car. Nice options. Fortunately no one was hurt. The front of my car is totalled… I find it remarkable that my air bag didn’t deploy… How fracking hard does it need to hit?? Anyway the insurance company (so far) has been decent. I can’t wait to see how much this increases my rates. This is my first accident in 15 years, I wasn’t charged with anything and the accident report says I was ‘driving normally’, so we’ll see. Still a shitty way to start your morning. Sigh.

In retrospect, I think this is the origin of my knee issues. It is nothing serious, just a nagging off feeling sometimes on the knee joint.
