Saturday we drove down to Beamsville. In some areas around the GTA the weather was really bad... but the GTA and Niagara seemed okay. We had lunch at August. It was really good! I had a brisket sandwich which was incredibly delicious. Our waiter (who was great) said it is in house from their sister BBQ restaurant across the street. I'd like to check that out! It was a pretty quick visit since we didn't bring the dogs. Still nice to see my Mom and have a few hours together. She got my a cool Jays hat for my birthday. (I thought it was TFC at first... it has that odd newish blue/red T logo. Sharp hat tho, and I did need one.
We are recapping Stranger Things and hope to move on to season five. The episodes vary dramatically in length. Rewatching the last 2 in season 4 is like watching a movie... Still impressed with the special effects. Wow.
Bdot was out all day Sunday at a dog event. I did housework then crashed. Fun.
What the hell happened to CANMNT? They look like a shell of the team I remember watching...
There was a nice write-up about the club I play hockey for in the last local newspaper. Great to finally see some recognition!
