Juno

Juno

I didnโ€™t go into work today. Yaaa! I did do some work from home howeverโ€ฆ so I wasnโ€™t fully disconnected from โ€˜The Projectโ€™. Today was my first ball hockey game in the new league. I was looking forward to seeing Kirk but Iโ€™ve been inactive for sooooo long I expected playing to be pretty painful. Fortunately I kept my shifts short so it wasnโ€™t too bad. Being on a team of โ€˜free agentsโ€™ I wasnโ€™t sure what to expectโ€ฆ and Iโ€™m still unsure who is really on my teamโ€ฆ I guess of the 10 guys signed up for my team only 6 showedโ€ฆ so we had a bunch of subs from other teams. Anyway, the mish-mash of players did well and we beat the Untouchables pretty soundly. I had about two or three chances but didnโ€™t net anything today. It was a lot of fun and I feel good having done it on many levels.

In the evening B. and I finally got to a movie together. A comedy-drama called Juno. Certainly not a movie I would usually pickโ€ฆ but it was very good. Some excellent writing and Ellen Page was extraordinary in her role. It was extremely cute and light, perfect for a lazy Sunday evening. โญโญโญโญ We stopped for a Starbucks (mmm Green Tea frappaccino) and flaked out the rest of the evening on the couch with our licky dog.
