It was sure looking like there was going to be a third game on Saturday for the World Cup. Team Europe held a 1-0 lead for late into the final minutes of the third period. Then Canada got a powerplay and scored. Then Europe got a powerplay and turned over the puck for an odd-man rush… Marchand scored top corner with only a few minutes left. Canada held on for the win. Most of the game however was pins and needles. Europe played a great game and sure looked up to pushing for a third game. Phew!
Took advantage of a beautiful Fall day and did three gates of the Caledon Trail. I started at Mississauga Road and walk down to Isabella Street. It is pretty section of trail. There is an abandoned Mill (or something) at Mississauga Road. I wonder what it was?
Saw a few people but certainly not enough were taking advantage of the day. It was long enough for Tanga.
Canada won game one of the finals!
